Zoukout 2011 morning: Saturday , Dec 10th 2011
Siloso Beach, Sentosa

We chose to fly to singapore on the day itself. Self tought, since this time we were using RBA direct flight to SIN, there is no need to stay one night prior to the event.

Boy, i made a mistake. Too stressed up at work (our dept merged up) = less rest and havnt got that full party vibe yet. (till Armin turn) which is haha towards the end

This year i took lots of pic, compare to last year haha
All the Djs are first for me

Having lunch, waiting our room to be ready

I force myself to sleep, by watching Walking Dead Marathon but i can't. Since we have spare 4-5hrs. The guys did their recharge. haha

Thank God this year they capped ths year capacity to prevent overcrowding. If not i probably have backdown when it was Armin, where its soooo packed.

We bought our breakfast, then off to bed prob just 4-5hrs

I like it :)

I didnt regret getting this , as it was not in my "Must" buy list, it was under "maybe" and this is the first time i own a dubstep album.

HISTORY: The first time i heard from her was a preview of "lights on" in a karaoke joint sometime in May in Sunway Lagoon . After few weeks and back in Brunei i went googling and liking "Broken Record", followed by "On a mission" and jst decided to purchase her album from my Zoukout singapore trip last week

My fav: Most of it , coz it has variety of genre.

We had our breakfast in the airport

Still tired and sleepy from the Linkin Park concert yesterday.

Welcome to Krabi International Airport

We arrived Krabi early.
We were told by the taxi driver that the next shuttleboat was around 1hr later. We thaught we're just gonna wait at Noppharat Beach because we didnt want to browse around town till settle our check-in.

I was suprised when the taxi dropped us of at Centara Grand Beach Resort at Ao Nang , i never come across this when i did my research. Turns out this is just a transit while waiting for boat.

We were greeted with smiles. They gave us refreshing cold towel and cold bottle water, cn smell of Lemongrass . We check in here, but later at the actual resort they also check -in us for the 2nd time, im not sure why .

Woke up to a stunning view.

At the living dining balcony , before heading to Ao Nang

Spacious bathroom, every corner has a outside view, me likey.
Not in pic: extra deep bathtub , which we didnt use at all

2 option to Ao Nang : by boat or by foot.
We chose the 20 mins walk through the Monkey Trail

Manage to this Halal restaurant at Ao Nang that i read from the internet

Checking Out Ao Nang , where Starbucks , 7-Eleven , Swensen's , Subway , McDonalds are located.Then suddenly without any warning it rained heavily - we were wet again. Showers stopped i think after 15mins, and back to streaking hot

First of all wanna say , Congratulations to David Guetta for winning DJmag No 1 Dj in the world. hmmm surely coz it has gone mainstream.

I plan to buy just 1 CD from Bangkok trip but end up 3 hehe

Suprisingly i like this album better than his
previous album One Love Album which i didnt like it .

Prob im more exposed to the mainstream now, thats why CD 1 is looped more than CD 2.

This is our 2nd trip to Bangkok but this time we use direct-flight from Brunei

realize the place we walked was all within walking distance

(too tired to go the he flower market-which later realize we did passed a flower boat market many times)
Bought corn on a corb for our lunch

1049 head to the Changi airport to catch our flight to KUL
First time using TigerairwaysHotel:Bintang Warisan , BB

Reason: enough said Bukit Bintang.

Next stop was " Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show '10 " at PWTC , gosh some of the both are playing some of the tunes in Zoukout, were still had that party mood. hahah

Shopping and
dinner at Pavillion and hangout at La Bodega.

Day 6: Monday , Dec 13th 2010
Finally, manage to repacked

Check Out, went to KLCC plan to visit the towerbridge turns out to be closed on Monday... huhu We had our lunch there, the guys went shopping while i went to SAW hair Salon.

Last stop in BB was Times Square, the guys purchase their Bowling shoes. heheeh

Hotel: The Royale Damansara

Reason: IKEA!!!! closer to Sunway.

Had a quick shopping in Sunway as it was near 9:30pm . Planned to play Bowling at Sunway Megalanes, but huhu there was Milo International Junior All-Starts Bowling Championship, so no lanes for us

We just had our dinner there,

which i found the type of cooking that i really like ; Hokkien Fried Mee Tiaw

Catch the cab to e-curve damansara, the bowling there was also closed
.

We end the night by hangout at The Sanctuary, not bad.. cont clubbed outside.. ahhaha ..

Day 7: Tuesday , Dec 14th 2010

Hotel: Still in Royale Damansara,

BreakfastWent to IKEA get my Daim Choc cake,
then head to Sunway Lagoon. hehehe from 12-6pm.

We tried;

1. Scream Park, ermm not that scary (although i did close my eyes haha) as in London madame tussaudsScream Chamber of Horror "

2. Wildlife Park

3. Extreme Park :

Archery, ATV, Flying Fox, Paint Ball , Kayaking

4. Amusement Park: cnt remember the name of the rides we played

5. Water Park : i remember " African Phyton "

Really exhausted , the guys went shopping again at Sunway Pyramid..

8pm we went to Megalanes again, but no luck. Had our dinner there and i should have tapau another Fried Hokkien Mee Tiaw,
another reason to go to Sunway. heheh

again the bowling e-curve closed. boring.

Then slept for around 1 1/2 hrs, for tmrws flight

Day 8: Wednesday, Dec 15th 2010

Checkout 5am,
we were really late for our morning flight.

Missed our flight.

Lucky got few seats the next day, and booked our hotel for the night at

Reason: Tune fully booked, nearest is Concorde

Family are having vac in KK since 13th, i was suppose to transit to KK. BWN-KUL-SIN-KUL-BWN-BKI today, but due to missed flight BWN, my trip to BKI cancel.

Which I really enjoyed more spending time with the guys. :D:D :D

Arrived KL Sentral around 1pm,

KTM to MidValley, tried Madam Kwan's for the 1st time ermmm...
just ok for me (Prob my choice of food was wrong)

Cosmic Bowling..fo 4 game(again we got suprise face for purchasing 4 games).

That time, really dissatisfied and annoyed wth the surrounding peeps
The guys, specific ND went Shopping at Robinsons, while i had my "tapau" at Cold Storage.. hahaha

Back at the hotel,

"Excuse Me, whats my room number?"

hd a quick " party " hahah someone slept early(not me) ironically, and someone(not me) couldnt sleep at all by "orange juice", funny.

Day 9: Thursday, Dec 16th 2010

Check out and went to the airport around 4;30am, dont wanna missed another flight..

Three of us catch our sleep in the plane..

Lunch:Nando's Bukit Bintang
Bowling:Ampang Times Square

Day 2: Thursday , Dec 9th 2010

Am flight to Changi SIN,

dropped our bags at the
Hotel: Riverview

Room: 1528

Reason: close to go clubbing at Zouk

We then straight went to Kallang Leisure Park, hahaha we were their 1st customer, shops hvnt opened yet. played 3 games.Breakfast=Bowling hahah

Lunch at KFC Kallang

We had assumed our nearest MRT stop to the hotel was Chinatown, end up got lost there and walked about i guess 2-3km bck to the hotel hahahah... Lucky that time its windy and not raining although its streaking hot.

After check in, we refresh ourself then take the cab to Marina Bay Sands

1st - Casino

2nd - Sky Park

Then head to Marina Bay Link Mall for our Zouk Out tickets

Then went to Marina Square to purchase the Official Zoukout t-shirt at Marina Square, then walked to Milenia Walk to have our dinner at Outback Steakhouse.

bck to the hotel again, refreshed and head to Zouk.

Boring.. Zouk and Phuture closed for private party, no choice end up at Velvet, they say its house music, but after entered :O its hip hop, rnb , soul urghhh.... noooooooo...

Day 3: Friday , Dec 10th 2010

After Tiesto left, i didn't thought ill cont' buying ISOS series,
especially when i knew Richard Durand
(his artist album - Always the sun , i kinda not like it - i just realiaze i didnt even publish my review meant for 10/07/09) is mixing it

I was browsing through juno as usual previewing new albums and decide to give it a try. I even wrongly bought the vinyl version and ordered still ordered the CD.
Not bad. This is my 4th ISOS
My memorable still would be ISOS 5 Los Angeles

Never been a Phynn Fan, the first time i heard him was through his amazing track "Lucid" in Tiesto in Concert 2 DVD. And recently “Hello Love” from Ferry Corsten “Once Upon A Night”, which make me decide to purchase his debut artist album although it has been released in 2008(Better Late Than Never.. heheeh from track 2)

Its electroish, I read some reviews esp trance fans people find it disappointing coz its not trancey as "Lucid" but im not complaining... I LOVE it!!!!..

(but this is mainly because i dnt listen to his previews work apart from "Lucid" and Hello Love" and dont expect something better from the album)

On my way back from training i pop the CD in, it was raining heavily, Gosh the mood and atmosphere that it created was chilling ...

I turned emo,

The tracks + Rain manage to create/open up the story of my life,

no kidding, well i learn that from my producer friend.

Esp from 8-12.

I pre-ordered Samantha James and Kaskade forthcoming new album. I then browsed to Kaskade previous album remixes and it lead me to purchase this amazing 2008 compilation...

Heavily looped, from first track to oh-im-so-loving-the Chill Out remix of "Steppin' Out".. ;) The album reminds me of when in The DEQ at Euphoria Ministry of Sound.. :)

This is the first Ferry Corsten mixed compilation that i own. Believe it or not i still hv nt yet own any compilation from Armin, even though i have most of his artist album.. hehehe

I love the first CD, coz it has vocal in it and its has been looped many times, on may way to and back from work. The track that i Love the most is "Right Back" by Yuri Kane, i just love the piano part and also the lyric. Followed by "Forgive Me, Forget You (Ashley Wallbridge Remix) by Tritonal Ft Soto, i LOVEE it. heheheeheh.. "Hello Love" by Phynn. There are also tracks that make me shiver. ie "Unconditional Love" by Amurai Ft Melissa Loretta.

Moving on to CD2, its the club sound.. heheehhe to be honest i hvnt even finished listening to it coz CD1 is still on the loop. hehehe But i hd a quick preview, i say its awesome.. :)

As for "Once" Ferry Corsten presents Pulse; it so reminds me one of my ultimate fav "Beautiful" ... hehehehe 4.6/5 :)
