Summer in Amsterdam trip 2011 Day 1

Six (6) nights in Amsterdam

3. Depart Heathrow Terminal 4 to Schipol Airport Amsterdam
Friday , July 1st am

Amsterdam Day 1 Itinerary:
1) Buy prepaid phone sim card - Vodafone
2) Buy dinner - Halal Kebab
3) Buy grocery stock up - Albert Heijn

KLM Self Check in at Heathrow Terminal 4

Boeing 737-800
Excited, first time flying with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

Took a cab to our hotel on a metred Merc Benz and live GPS Satellite Navigation

Steep stairs to go to our room on the 2nd floor (L)
Outside view of Raadhuisstraat from our room (R)

Walked passed by still or former Tiesto's restaurant Club.

Found a Halal restaurant

Grocery Shopping at Albert Heijn Raadhuisstraat

4. De Gooyer Windmill Friday , July 2nd

Amsterdam Day 2 Itinerary:
1) search a windmill - De Gooyer Windmill
2) visit any Weekend market for Tulips - Nieumarkt Market

Hotel owners cat, Fluffy and manja

Thanks to goggle map, Self no longer look like a tourist

Enjoying all the surrounding atmosphere on foot to see the
nearest Windmill in Amsterdam

Arrive around 1-2 hrs at the windmill . i think hheh

Back to town at Centraal Station using tram for the 1st time

Malaysian food closed.

In the end,
realize the place we walked was all within walking distance

Found Market but not flower
(too tired to go the he flower market-which later realize we did passed a flower boat market many times)
Bought corn on a corb for our lunch

Heading back to the hotel
